March’16 Bookhaul

Oh my, oh my. What an insane month!
I didn’t only get around to read a lot, I also bought waaaay too many books. Oopsie!

But I have to say I didn’t buy a lot of books in December, January, and February so I think it’s okay to go over the tops once in a while. Also, I was on vacation at my parents’ in Germany and of course I had to order some (used) books while being there and I did a little shopping too…

So I accumulated 21 books altogether. I know, I know…it’s massive. I was hoping to be able to picture all of the books, but the package I have been waiting to arrive for ages, but they haven’t arrived yet and I lend the other book to my friend.

These are all my books. Please ignore The Demon King. I bought it long ago but my parents sent it with the rest of the books and I hauled it by accident…

Some of the books I ordered used from Rebuy, others I got on sale in German bookstores and others were just regular priced books. There are many German books – sorry guys! I will link you the English translation if available.

April TBR

Hello guys!

My March was incredible good and now I’m very motivated to continue my reading habits like that. I guess my April TRB is a little too ambitious, but I will try my best.

So this month I plan to read 9 books and listen to 5 audiobooks.

Edit: 4/10: I guess my goal was waaaay to ambitious….

March Wrap-up 2016

Hello & welcome to my monthly wrap-up for March!

I’m pleased to tell you that I’m finally out of my reading slump that lasted for way too long. March really was an incredible month; generally and reading wise. Can you believe that I have read 7 books and listened to 6 audiobooks?

All together I have read 4179 pages and listened to nearly 50 hours of audiobooks! This was only possible because I have the possibility to listen to audiobooks during work, and because I was sick for one week and had a week of holiday that I spent at my parents place in Germany (= plenty of travel time).

But without further ado, here’s the complete list of last month.
EDIT: Somehow there’s some issue with the formatting and putting links behind the picture, so you can find the ratings from here. Sorry for the mess, but when I add a caption the same mess happens.

October Wrap up & November TBR

So, finally here it is, my October Wrap Up and November-TBR!

Last month I manage to read/listen to 8 books altogether but only because I have been sick in bed for a week straight.

October Wrap-up

The first book I read was The Rose Society by Marie Lu. The Review can be find here.

Then picked up Scherbenseele (Glass bodies) – a German book. It’s by the Swedish author duo Erik Axel Sund. I rated it 4 Stars.

Next up I listened to the German version of Carrie (Stephen King). I expected more of it to be honest. It’s maybe because I knew the movie – the old original one from 1976 – for many, many years (basically since I was 10 when I saw it for the first time…) that made me not liking the book as much as I would have wanted to. It’s one of these rare expectations where the movie is better than the book. But there will probably come a full review. However, I have it 3 stars.

Then I finally finished The Banished of Muirwood  Jeff Wheeler. A review to it will come within this week. I rated it with 4,5 Stars. Continue reading “October Wrap up & November TBR”
