March’16 Bookhaul

Oh my, oh my. What an insane month!
I didn’t only get around to read a lot, I also bought waaaay too many books. Oopsie!

But I have to say I didn’t buy a lot of books in December, January, and February so I think it’s okay to go over the tops once in a while. Also, I was on vacation at my parents’ in Germany and of course I had to order some (used) books while being there and I did a little shopping too…

So I accumulated 21 books altogether. I know, I know…it’s massive. I was hoping to be able to picture all of the books, but the package I have been waiting to arrive for ages, but they haven’t arrived yet and I lend the other book to my friend.

These are all my books. Please ignore The Demon King. I bought it long ago but my parents sent it with the rest of the books and I hauled it by accident…

Some of the books I ordered used from Rebuy, others I got on sale in German bookstores and others were just regular priced books. There are many German books – sorry guys! I will link you the English translation if available.

Bookish Update!

Woohooo, there’s finally a bookish update on here!

I have been into a horrible reading slump and my current work schedule doesn’t really help with that. I’m currently working some 45 to 50 hours per week so the only thing I’m doing when I get home at night is sleeping. But it’s getting better and I seem to find a rhythm.

I really haven’t been reading a lot these past months. I have been so inactive on Goodreads even but well, that’s life I suppose.

Anyway, I got around to listen to some audiobooks at work:

Cassandra ClareThe Bane Chronicles (4 Stars)
Elle KennedyThe Deal (4,5 Stars)
Timur VermesEr ist wieder da (Look who’s back) (4 Stars)

Currently, I’m listening to Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone, and hope I get through it by Wednesday so that I can start the next one.

I also did a little book haul this month:

I started After and so far I actually do like it. I hope I can finish it soon, but I’m confident I will get through it soon. My holiday starts on Saturday and then I will be off to Germany to see and spend some time with my family. I can’t wait to see them, it’s been so long!

November Bookhaul & Wrap-up

Oh dear, I was definitely too eager with my reading pile last months. I planned to read sooo much and did actually only read 1 book and listened to 2 audiobooks. Ups.
I’m about halfway through Illuminae and I really like the book but I guess I just been to distracted (by netflix) and got into a reading slump…

The book I read was Still by Zoran Drvenkar and I listened to The Ciphers of Muirwood and The Void of Muirwood both by Jeff Wheeler.

Anyway, I won’t be doing a TBR for December and just see what will happen.

As for the books I got: I bought 4 books and got 2 for review.
